Posted Date: 01/09/26 (02:00 PM)

Vestavia Hills City Schools is excited to learn about, celebrate, and honor the wonderful cultural diversity that makes our community so special. This year’s “I Am Vestavia Week: A Celebration of Our Cultural Diversity” will take place January 20–23. Throughout the week, our schools will shine a spotlight on the many cultures represented in our district, with both school teams and district leaders working together to create meaningful celebrations.

On Tuesday, January 20,  5:30–7:30 p.m., we’ll gather for our second-annual community festival at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center. The evening will feature cultural booths, lively performances from students and community artists, engaging showcases, and an inspiring presentation that highlights the richness of our community. The festival village and performances will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., followed by the ceremony from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. We invite you to join us for this special community event!
