Dear Vestavia Hills City Schools Families,

In Vestavia Hills, we’re excited to learn about, celebrate, and honor the wonderful cultural diversity that makes our community so special. This year’s I Am Vestavia Week: A Celebration of Our Cultural Diversity will take place January 20–23, 2026. Throughout the week, our schools will shine a spotlight on the many cultures represented in our district, with both school teams and district leaders working together to create meaningful celebrations.

Save the Date! On Tuesday, January 20,  5:30–7:30 p.m., we’ll gather for our community festival at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center. The evening will feature cultural booths, lively performances from students and community artists, engaging showcases, and an inspiring presentation that highlights the richness of our community. The festival village and performances will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, followed by the ceremony from 7:00 to 7:30 pm.

We want to make sure we represent every corner of our community.  We would love your input! Please take a few moments to complete our survey (linked below). Sharing your information will help us plan an unforgettable week of learning, sharing, and celebrating together.

Would you like to be part of the festival celebration? If you complete one of the following forms, you will be contacted with details:
